Super Clean Filtration – Patent pending

Filtration has now gone full circle. The original Vacuum Conveyors had Membrane Bag Filters. Cartridge Filters became popular several years ago as they became more available from the Dust Filtration companies. They had limited use in the Vacuum Conveyor and required larger amounts or compressed air to clean them.

Pharmaceutical clients began to demand higher batch integrity as they notice high residues of products were being left on their existing filters. This opened up an opportunity for PUREFILL to innovate its Filters beyond the limits of the ‘Off the Shelf’ Pleated Cartridges.

The Super Clean Filter is exactly what it says it is. The powder residue that would normally be left on the surface of the Filter is reduced to less than a 1/10th of that of a traditional Filter Bag and 1/100th of a Pleated Cartridge Filter

How it works – In brief

When the Filter is under Vacuum the Filter Material is held in a semi-rigid state. At the end of this ‘Suction’ cycle the Internal Air Shock releases compressed air to clean the Membrane. It's here that the Airshock has been designed to direct the cleaning Pulse of Compressed air right at the heart of the blinded surface or filter. The Filter membrane is also allow to Inflate slightly to expand the material and thus assist in the release of trapped particles.

Filter Range

Each application will be slightly different from the last one. The majority of applications use our standard range of filtration. There are cases were we will offer specials such as Sintered Micron Mesh filters for Sterile and Clean-In –Place applications.
